Freelancer.com is another large freelance job marketplace. There aren’t quite as many new social media jobs posted each day as there are on Elance.com, but there are still a large number and it is well worth your time creating an account and checking out the new jobs each day.

Craigslist is the worlds largest classified ad website. Everyday tens of thousands of new ads are posted, including social media jobs.

The layout of Craigslist can be a little confusing at first, so follow the directions below to find the social media jobs.

Go to http://craigslist.org

In the search box at the top left of the page enter ‘social media’ and select ‘jobs’ from the drop down menu.

Press the search button

Once the page loads you will be able to see the latest social media jobs available in your area.

Unfortunately there are a lot of junk job posts on craigslist, but there are also a lot of gems, so make sure you are persistent and apply for all of the jobs that interest you and look legitimate. Many of our members have found great long term clients through craigslist, you can too!
